MySpace Launches Site-Wide Image Search

MySpace has launched its new image search feature to its search engine, which will search photos shared between friends and community. They have not officially announced the new feature. MySpace says that all results are shown through a “social lense”, which means that the engine pays attention to keywords in your profile and who your friends are to try to generate the most relevant results.

MySpace Image Search is a somewhat different in working, While a search for “San Francisco” on Flickr or Google Image Search will show city-scapes or famous landmarks, results on MySpace will show people with the famous landmarks in the background.
